Shoot to Scale

(Entry for the GMTK Game Jam 2024)

Disclaimer: Due to a lack of time management (and 2/3 team members working full time) the game is not very balanced and wave 4 and up are basically unbeatable. I will update the game after the voting period, for now I hope you enjoy our efforts :)

The Story

You are a scientist trying to develop the ultimate weapon, one that can withstand any conditions and adapt to any situation. But as a failed experiment leaves the laboratory flooded with monsters and enemies, you find that your weapon has gone out of control: parts of it are growing and shrinking on their own! Battle waves of enemies to save your laboratory while also fighting with your own creation.

How to Play

Move using the WASD or arrow keys and aim and shoot using the mouse. As you level up, parts of your weapon will randomly upgrade and downgrade, each one affecting your stats in a different way. Beat all waves of enemies to win.
